The Women Centre Derry Crèche provides a warm, welcoming, and high-quality childcare service for families in our local community. We aim to create a safe, happy, and supportive environment where children can thrive, and where parents feel confident in the care provided. Our crèche is registered by Early Years and plays a key role in enabling women to participate in classes and programmes offered onsite at Women Centre Derry. Supporting Children’s Development We support every child’s learning and development through a wide range of age-appropriate, play-based and fun activities. Our daily routines encourage exploration, creativity, social skills, and emotional wellbeing. Children enjoy opportunities for sensory play, arts and crafts, imaginative play, early learning activities, and outdoor fun in a safe, nurturing setting. Our Childcare Approach Our dedicated staff team is fully trained and experienced in helping children settle into the crèche environment. They take part in regular ongoing training to ensure their skills and knowledge continue to grow. After each session, parents receive personalised feedback on their child’s progress and the care they received. Facilities Our crèche includes:

• Sensory Room – A calming, interactive space that supports children’s sensory development and emotional wellbeing.
• Outdoor Play Area – A small but engaging outdoor space where children can enjoy fresh air, physical play, and outdoor learning activities.

Sessional Childcare We offer morning and afternoon sessional care for children aged 8 weeks to 4 years old. This flexible service is designed to support families and enable women to access onsite education, training, and wellbeing programmes.
